Meet Lilea Alvarez

Lilea Alvarez is a Latina artist who is passionate about creating awe-striking wondrous meaningful work. Dance is within her soul and theater is her muse. 

 

Lilea is a recent graduate from UC Berkeley where she received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Theater and Performance Studies with highest distinction in general scholarship. She is currently working as a professional Fellow at New Village Arts Theater.

She is driven to inspire and drawn to social justice theater work. She loves spending time with her family, reading an intriguing novel, playing her ukulele or guitar and watching the sunset over the ocean.
